Breaking News: Supreme Court Orders Ex Abia State Governor, Kalu To Submit Himself For Trials

A former Governor of Abia state has been ordered by Nigeria’s apex court, the Supreme Court, to bring himself forward for trial.

The Supreme Court gave the order on Friday asking the ex Abia State Governor, Orji Kalu, to submit himself  for trial on the money laundering charges instituted against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in 2007.

Senators Shun Saraki’s Trial as Number of Supporters Shrinks Drastically

The number of senators who accompanied Saraki to the CCT have drastically reduced compared to his last appearance that featured 30 senators.

Senate President Bukola Saraki has arrived at the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) where his trial for alleged false declaration of assets continues.

He arrived at 9:55am in company of at least 18 senators according to the cable.
